Hello, my name is Mike Stone.
Since college, I’ve been an Editor, Teacher, and Realtor. But I’ve always been a Writer at heart, which is why I got into Advertising/Marketing. It’s been a rich ride that’s taken me from Atlanta to San Diego to Boston to San Francisco to North Carolina. From ad agencies to in-house. From Copywriter to Creative Director.
This pinball journey taught me humility, the value of hard work, and the importance of believing in myself. Pretty much the same stuff my parents tried to teach me when I was a kid, but I was like, “whatever.”
It also taught me that we have a lot of work to do to make sure the creative community is more diverse and inclusive.
I'm a husband and a proud father of two boys, and I love reading, writing songs, surfing, mountain biking and, well, pretty much anything you can do outdoors. Even if it’s just laying in the hammock, watching my two sons terrorize each other.
